ORDERING SPECIFICATIONS
When placing an order, please include:
Item number - including description/color/style
Imprint color with PMS # if required (actual sample preferred)
Copy/logo position (if none specified, standard will be used.)
Additional charges (e.g. 2nd color, 2nd side, packaging, etc.)
Die/screen charges
Quantity and shipping method (if none specified, UPS Ground used)
Ship date (if none specified, standard production time will be used)
Order will be considered complete when we have received purchase order, approved artwork, credit approval, proof approval and specifics on all items explained above. Production time will begin after order is complete.
ARTWORK
If you are sending artwork electronically, either via email or on disk, please use the following guidelines:

We do spot color using the following imprinting methods:
High Lines Cups and Napkins: Offset Printing
500 Line Cups: Screen Printing
500 Line Napkins: Letterpress

Please note files sent in tiff, jpeg, or bitmap cannot be altered-only viewed and used “as is”.
Artwork must be black and white. No gradual fades or halftones. Some exceptions apply where process printing is available.
The only acceptable mailed in artwork is in a high quality line art solid spot color format. Due to the fact that process colors print in halftones, artwork cannot be mailed in a process color format, it must be sent on disk or email.
Due to color variations in computer screens, we cannot match colors to your file without a PMS or standard color specified or a paper color swatch included.
Multicolored artwork should be sent in a format where the colors have been separated. If the artwork is not separated, art charge will apply.
For your protection, always provide a hard copy of your artwork (a fax is acceptable). This is to insure your artwork is imprinted as you intended. If a hard copy is not provided, your order will be scheduled for a paper proof so that you may verify your artwork. Production time will begin after receipt of written proof approval

DIE/SCREEN CHARGES
All new orders require a printing die or screen - $25.00 (V) per color, per panel for all items except dining ensembles (please see individual pages.) Exact reorders do not incur a screen or die charge unless artwork has changed.We will waive die and/or screen charge if an actual sample or artwork from a competitor is submitted.
PROOFS
Black and white paper proof or electronic proofs. When proof is involved, standard production time will begin the date of written proof approval. Please note that some proofs are not able to be shown at 100% on 8.5" x 11" sized paper.
FOUR COLOR PROCESS
All four color process jobs REQUIRE a press proof unless a product acceptance agreement is signed.
COPY CHANGES
500 Line - $25.00 (V) per item per color per order plus applicable die and/or screen charge.
High Lines - $60.00 (V) per item per color per order plus applicable die and/or screen charge.
High Lines quantities require a minimum of 10,000 pieces per copy change.
INK COLOR CHANGES
Color changes:
500 Line - $25.00 (V) per item per color per order.
High Lines - $60.00 (V) per item per color per order.

PRODUCTION TIMES
All 500 Line quantity orders are normally shipped in 5 business days from receipt of order, approved artwork and credit approval. Due to the seasonal fluctuation in production schedules, 5-day service could vary a few days; however, 95% of 500 Line orders are shipped in this timeframe. It is always best to specify a delivery date on your order.
All High Lines orders within catalog quantities are normally shipped in 10 business days from receipt of order, approved artwork and credit approval. When a proof is involved, standard production time will begin the date of written proof approval.
REPEAT ORDERS
Lead time for exact repeat orders is only 3 days for 500 Line and 6 days for High Lines.

OVER/UNDERRUNS
Exact quantities are always a goal; however, occasionally a slight variance occurs.You will not be charged for more than 5% overruns, and we will not ship less than a 5% underrun unless you are advised.

Standard packaging is listed on each page.You may choose to package your products differently than the standard. For this service, a special packaging charge will apply. Please note these charges could vary slightly if the quantity desired is too large for the standard polybag used for each product.

The above corresponding PMS colors are for reference of the standard colors only. An exact match to these colors is not guaranteed and can vary within two shades.The standard colors come direct from an ink mill and are mixed in large runs. Due to this, you may see a slight dye lot variation from run to run. However, there will be no variation during a single run. For all other colors, or if you need a consistent match from run to run, see ink color matching below.
INK COLOR MATCHING
Above are the standard colors that are available on the items shown in the catalog or on this site. For a special match, please specify a PMS # (uncoated) or provide a paper color swatch and we will match it within one shade. Color match charge is $25.00 (V). There is no extra charge for using standard ink colors. Neon inks are available in 500 Line napkins and certain cups. A PMS match will apply. Please call for more details.
PRODUCT COLORS
The pictures on this site and in our master catalog are representative of the product colors and ink colors, but photography colors could vary from actual products. If exact colors are critical, please request an actual sample prior to production. Due to dye lot variations in the paper pulp, recycling and plastic resin mixing processes, the actual color of the product could vary slightly from run to run.We do guarantee that there will be no variation in product color within the same run.We recommend that if your product must match exactly, please order it all within the same run.
SILVER AND GOLD FOIL LEAF PRINTING
On Napkins and Hand Towels, gold or silver foil leaf printing is available at an extra charge of $.08 (Z).You must allow 15 production days for gold or silver foil leaf printing on new orders. High Lines pricing is not available when using foil leaf printing. See characteristics below.
CHARACTERISTICS OF GOLD AND SILVER FOIL LEAF PRINTING
Gold and silver foil is applied to paper napkins using heat and pressure. Because of the texture of the tissue in napkins and the heat process, a certain amount of bleeding can occur when logos contain fine details. If a logo contains fine details, especially in a reverse logo, then we recommend ink printing, which will hold the detail much better. If there is any doubt, please contact your representative for their opinion. A sample of the logo may be requested under certain instances. Also, since the foil is stamped on the napkins, in larger solids of foil printing there may be some flaking of the foil when the napkins are crinkled in use (this is mainly the case in printing a larger solid logo). If any of these limitations are a problem, please request a sample prior to production.
WHITE INK LIMITATIONS
 
There are two types of white ink available for printing napkins and plastic glasses. The napkin white is non-opaque and the plastic glass white is opaque. The word opaque in this instance refers to the density of the coverage of ink on either the napkin or the plastic glass. On plastic glasses, we can use a heavy opaque ink to give the white ink a look of bright white, which will cover the background of the colored glass. However, on colored napkins we have to use a non-opaque white ink which allows the color of the napkin to show through the white and make the ink appear to have a light-colored cast on the ink. For example, if you print the non-opaque white on a red napkin the white ink will appear to have a very light pink cast to it. Accordingly, printing white ink on a black napkin will result in a gray cast to it. If this is a problem, please contact your representative for a sample.
STANDARD LAYOUT FOR ALL NAPKINS
Beverage, Luncheon and 1/4 fold Dinner Napkins will be laid out and printed on lower part of the diamond. Shadow shows where napkins open.
1/8 fold Dinner Napkins will be printed just above the border horizontally. Shadow shows where napkins open.
Crop marks on artwork will NOT be used for layout/placement purposes.
